You know what happens when you’re young, full of ideas but have no guidance?
you fumble around and find out!

Being 14 years in the oven we baked something with potential to span across various media types: A universe with geopolitical drama that tells a story about fractured timelines converging, which the protagonist doesn’t want to be a part of. He has questions of his own, about himself, the world and the whereabouts of his missing parents.

We portray a story of becoming an adult through the hardships life forces us to endure, whether we want it or not, painting a stark contrast between destiny and free will in which the player is the defining agent.

You start in a safe, familiar environment, with a crisis looming closer. At some point, you lose everything that - for a brief moment - grounded you in this universe. And like that, it gets taken away from you.
You’re the only one left who can change the course of time into the Perfect Future! And you are faced with this destiny right as you are forced to redefine your notion of self and to find out what the world out there looks like. You’re not safe anymore and inaction is fatal, so you have to juggle these blades carefully…
Something most people can identify with at an emotional level - something that is very important for us! We don’t just want to create escapist fantasy, we are carefully crafting a universe where fantasy makes sense , if that makes sense :)

The story follows our protagonist’s journey but he manifests you: Your character’s growth reflects your gameplay choices. As you learn to tame creatures and become a master of your own impulses you build a whole different character than when you go into every confrontation head-on like a berserker.
Learn about biotech wonders like the Infinitree, factions lost to time like the Chronogardeners, and perhaps you’ll gain access to the mycelial neural networks of Mycomi

This is our public pitch, same as on other platforms. With your interest, we’re willing to explore the depths of:
- the importance of real-world mythology and history for the locations, characters and legends they tell.
- the emotional load, the philosophical aspects
- game loops and specific mechanics
- your question here
GDD is about 60% complete, Universe lore is under review. As far as development goes, we abandoned our old janky engines and are starting over in Godot, creating another engine on top of it with the objective of having it become the Mario Maker of Metroidvanias.
For this last one is where we’re lacking the most. I do the planning and get AI to do some decent code from it, but I’m way out of jurisdiction there. So we do need, in order of importance:
- Godot experience
- Art & Graphics
- Campaign management/PR
- Writing both creative and technical
While we have a core team of 6, we’re very dispersed at the moment. I as project lead and author am naturally the most active member, but I cherish every contribution, even if it’s just a meme to cheer me up
